Jeff Troupe will be at Flowers by Hansen from 5:00-8:00PM during the 2016 Art Walk. I will have paintings on sale and will be painting a floral arrangent on site. It’s holiday time and once again plans are under way for the annual Kalispell Art Walk and Holiday Stroll. This Downtown celebration will take place Friday, December 2, 2016. This work was painted during the fall of 2014 in which I made a return to the Modoc Wildlife Refuge and enjoyed seeing the effects of the changing season. The homestead in the distance braces for an approaching shower. The owner of the homestead in the painting purchased the work at the Art Center shortly after being put on display.

My little homage to Claude Monet for an upcoming show art the Alturas California Art Center called 'Forgeries'. The image in my Monet book was closer to my colors. I don't think i will fool anyone, but it was a fun exercise and I was pleased with the results. Jeff Troupe studied art at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco where he was introduced to plein air painting. Upon graduation, Troupe worked as a commercial artist working on video games and apps for nearly a decade. In 2014 he relocated to Kalispell to pursue his fine art career. Troupe primarily paints outdoors and strives to bring that vibrancy to his studio work. 2TIM 1:7
