'Little Mountain Village' oil on canvas 6"x8"
The little Montana hamlet of Bigfork slows down a little bit in the winter, but is still a cozy place to spend an evening out. It is a truly charming place with its street lamps aglow and awnings covered in fresh snow. After painting this, I enjoyed a hot cup of soup at Show Thyme restaurant with the Bigfork couple who purchased this work. That was a welcome surprise and made the evening very memorable.
