'The Foreman' acrylic on canvas 24"x30"

I am creating a series of urban and construction themed works for a two man show at the Hockaday Mueum next Spring. There will be more information on the show as it becomes available. Many of the works will be quite large which will be a departure from the mostly small works I've been creating for the last three yearts. This particular work is a larger version of the 8"x10" study in which I was able to further experiment with color excitement and harmonies. I chose to paint in acrylic as I like to be able to go back into a larger work when it is fully dry...

Jeff Troupe studied art at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco where he was introduced to plein air painting. Upon graduation, Troupe worked as a commercial artist working on video games and apps for nearly a decade. In 2014 he relocated to Kalispell to pursue his fine art career. Troupe primarily paints outdoors and strives to bring that vibrancy to his studio work. 2TIM 1:7
